Strength Training: Why You NEED to Get Strong.

If you want to lose weight, gain muscle, and/or just look and feel better, strength training will do just that.
Strength training will change your life.

By the way, Hi, I’m Ksenia, bikini-fitness competitor, mom, and strength training has changed my life. I help men and women get strong with my Strong Gym program, and in addition to this strength series, I’d love to help you get strong too!

For many years I was avoiding the weight room (even though I LOVED that style of training and feeling strong). I still remember trying to stick to 1300 calories a day even though I was ravenous, and my body was demanding more. Why? All because I was so afraid my legs would get “big” and that I wouldn’t fit what I believed were societies beauty standards.

If you’re dreading your health and fitness journey, I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to. I promise you, you can create the body of your dreams with the lifestyle you truly enjoy. By the way here is my transformation:

So my recommendation to anyone reading this and wants to progress:

1. GET A WELL-STRUCTURED PLAN: cannot stress this enough, I never had this at the start and had to learn along the way. I recommend my Strong Gym program for ALL levels.

2. PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD: you need to get out of your comfort zone, if you’re working out always with the same weights and it’s comfy, I recommend changing that

3. BE CONSISTENT: stop rushing it, just show up and be consistent. Don’t aim for perfect, better aim for better each time

4. FOOD: are you eating enough? Look at your daily food intake, is it all over the place or consistent? If you don’t know how much food do you actually need to eat I will help you!
